![The title of the semester project at the FHWS Faculty of Design in the winter semester 2016/17 is "feel home or portable shelter" and can be understood as an invitation to the other person or as an expression of a certain condition. We have investigated how a portable space could be, which surrounds me and gives me a feeling of being safe on the move and in new places. What can a cocoon for city nomads look like? Like a shelter that makes us independent of place, time and weather conditions.

Involuntarily or by our own choice we are not always where we are at home, we want to be independent and mobile, we nomadise. Some travel back and forth between several locations, others are in search of a new home. Our clothing can enclose us like an architecture and offer us secureness, and it is wearable, it can be taken along.

Here we present a selection of the study works, life-size body covers that investigate and illustrate wearable protection and security.
They were presented in a joint performance, which could be discovered like living pictures, tableau vivant, in individual rooms.
