The String Days for Young People, which have been repeated annually for several years, are a training programme for young string musicians in the event rooms of the Hombroich Island Foundation. Not only are young talents supported, but also young string musicians of various levels of performance are introduced to ensemble playing. The joy of making music without pressure to perform is the main focus. The maximum of 24 young people live and play music in the guest house of the Hombroich rocket station and are taught by outstanding musicians. The project is organized and carried out in cooperation with Anja Runge.

At the annual event „Streichertage Hombroich“ young string musicians between the ages of 9 and 16 are supported. The String Days take place for one week in the guest house of the Hombroich rocket station. The organization is a collaboration with Anja Runge.
